Tindatine: I have no plans to get married anytime soon unless it's someone like Bill Clinton.

Lady Mariam, also known as Tindatine, has stated that she has no plans to get married anytime soon unless a man like Bill Clinton comes along. Clinton was the 42nd president of the United States from 1993 to 2001 and is still married to former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Tindatine believes that her wedding has to be public since she is a star and her fans must know about it. She mentioned that a man has to come and let the world know that he is taking her daughter. In 2014, Tindatine revealed to New Vision that she was once married for two years but things did not work out as her husband wanted her to quit music. She also dated a South Sudan tycoon named TiTo Tongo, who sponsored her music, and former Uganda Cranes striker Robert Ssentongo. Ssentongo accused her of cheating, while Tindatine accused him of domestic violence and being weak in bed.

In a 2015 interview reported in Bigeye.ug, Tindatine, also known as Lady Mariam, stated that she had publicly talked about her relationship with former Uganda Cranes striker Robert Ssentongo, but broke up with him after he turned abusive towards her. She claimed that Ssentongo would beat her every day and accused her of cheating on him, which she denied. Tindatine further added that she dumped him because he was controlling and failed to fulfill her needs as a woman.
