Rickman was made fun of after he asked Elon Musk to charge Shs100,000 to verify his Twitter account.

Musk wanted people to pay $20 per month at first, but later lowered it to $8 (about Shs30,000) per month. Manrick, on the other hand, wanted him to charge $30. (about Shs110,000). As if that wasn't enough, Manrick paraphrased the tweet above and wrote: "If I want to use Twitter, I'll have to pay $30. bwekiganye nga njesonyiwa [If it doesn't work, I'll quit.] Every month, Twitter costs 100k UGX. @elonmusk: Information is expensive."

People on Twitter saw the tweet and gave him the attention he wanted. One person on Twitter pointed out that Sheilah Gashumba, his rich girlfriend, will pay the subscription fees, not him.

Someone on Twitter with the handle @NzePatoh said: "I've always known that you were the girl in that relationship. Here was the peak of slowness." @ Being Shan said: "Don't mind him! Mandem must have something wrong with him, like a "hangover.""

@FelixSsent tweeted: "...the people he paid $100,000 to promote his boring song with Kenzo are the ones who can't pay $30,000 a month. He would have given them $600,000 if he had money."

@Umwamikaziii replied, "You're not as controversial as your girlfriend."

@sammiemanini1 said, "Your music career took a break, and you have the nerve to talk about bakachele when you are their chairman?"

Radio host Prim Asiim

we came with a good mood: "???????????????? okoze otya blaaad [What have you done, blood?]"

Statista says that there are more than 420,000 verified accounts on Twitter right now.
