"Eddy Kenzo has done well because he takes his job seriously." - Chameleone

"The best thing about Eddy Kenzo is... The thing is that Eddy Kenzo takes his work seriously. The respect he has for his job is what has made Eddy Kenzo who he is. As you've seen with me, things can get heated because we're people. But Eddy Kenzo is good at what he does. I call upon fellow musicians to do self-introspection and develop some discipline, "Chameleone told reporters this after performing at the Eddy Kenzo Festival on Saturday at Kampala's Kololo Airstrip.

When asked if the Sitya Loss singer is now in the same league as Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool, and himself, Chameleone, he said: "So what? So what? Uganda has shown that it backs him. I don't need to be asked that. [The fact that there are so many people here is enough proof.]" Chamelone explained what he means when he calls himself "big" with the help of metaphors: "Are you big enough to fit in the chair you're sitting in? You might be big, but you sleep in a four-by-four bed. Some people sleep in beds that are five-by-five or six-by-six, and others sleep in beds that are King Size. Eddy Kenzo isn't a little boy; he's a big boy."

Edrisah Musuuza, whose real name is Kenzo, recently said that he started singing in 2007, and that his first song was called "Tuteese." When he was performing at Wallet Pub in Kabuusu, Rubaga Division, Kampala, this song gave him the chance to meet big names in the music business, like Bobi Wine, born Robert Kyagulanyi. The Tweyagale singer would later record a song with Kyangulanyi's brother Mikie Wine, and Kyagulanyi's record label, Firebase Crew, would help her out.
